fssc 22000
Food Safety Sytem Certification
From 1998 to 2013, our company was certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.
In 2014, we took a further step and expanded our product quality and corporate policy to include ‘food safety’ certification.
Rainforest Alliance
Since 2013, we have been supporting more sustainable cocoa farming through our UTZ certification. Also, following the merger of the UTZ organisation with the Rainforest Alliance, we will continue to adhere to their social, economic and environmental standards from 2022 onwards to promote more sustainable agriculture. By implementing the Rainforest Alliance guidelines, we aim to counteract some of the direct and indirect negative impacts on human rights and the environment.
KAT
Kontrollierte Alternative Tierhaltung
KAT is the leading certification body for the inspection of eggs from alternative hen-rearing systems in Germany and neighbouring EU countries. Through our certification scheme, which has been in place since 2014, we support and guarantee traceability and provenance for controlled alternative animal husbandry.
RSPO
Roundtable on sustainable Palm Oil
Due to its versatility, palm oil has become an indispensable component of countless products today. To limit further environmental damage caused by conventional palm oil cultivation, we have been a member of the RSPO organisation since 2014. As part of this supply chain, we promote the cultivation of sustainable palm oil and are committed to environmentally friendly, ethical and socially responsible production.

Since 2016, we have met the EU legal requirements for the trade in organic products – initially in accordance with EC Organic Regulation No. 834/2007 and, from 2022, in accordance with the new Organic Regulation (EU) 2018/848. Through annual certification, we guarantee compliance with the strict requirements that this regulation imposes on the trade and labelling of agricultural products and foodstuffs marketed as organic products.

Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit
Ethical trade is one of our guiding principles: having held SMETA certification since 2015, we always operate in accordance with a code of ethics implemented within our company, which is based on the following pillars:

Halal
We have been offering halal-certified products since 2013 and were able to expand our range with the certification of a further company site in 2024. We are now able to offer you a wide portfolio of products that comply with Islamic regulations – a contribution to cultural and religious diversity and acceptance.
