The company
Founded in 1892 as a mill, Abel + Schäfer can look back on a long tradition marked by innovations. In 1958, Fritz Claus Schäfer launched the production of baking products under the KOMPLET brand name.
He was one of the first manufacturers in the world to take this step. The formulated premixes are promising and enjoy strong demand. Consequently, the subsidiary KOMPLET Berlin is established as early as 1967.
Today, the group of companies Abel + Schäfer / KOMPLET is one of the leading companies in the sector, maintaining a commitment to tradition and innovation into the future.
The term “tradition” means more to us than just many years of experience in the production of baking premixes and baking products – it also describes the care when handling valuable raw materials and a strong quality orientation, and both are highly important to us. Our search for new and more effective testing and processing techniques contribute to the continuous improvement of our products. Our early orientation towards new, international markets has equally advanced our innovative strength.
